Proven success stories and brand-new vehicles: Hobby kicks off the new season with a mix of best-sellers and new vehicles. The announcement of a new addition to our range of vans is particularly exciting.

The highlight is the new MAXIA 585 UL featuring the popular Scandinavian “hygge” design. The design, variety and technology of other model ranges will also be updated.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and motorhome specialists HOBBY have laid the contractual foundation stone for long-term cooperation. The first stage of the cooperation will see HOBBY offering its own motorhome solutions based on Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ Crafter panel van before the end of the year. The new vehicles will be on show for the first time at the Caravan Salon this August in Düsseldorf.

The BEACHY wins big-time: The new Hobby caravan went and took first place three times at the European Innovation Award 2022. Just one aspect that garnered particular attention was the concept, which is perfectly tailored to the needs of its target group.

In the readers’ poll for Caravan of the Year 2022 in the trade magazine CARAVANING, Hobby went and took two spots on the winner’s podium. Both the Hobby Ontour and the Hobby Prestige re-ceived awards.

Hobby’s BEACHY was awarded the title of ANWB Caravan of the Year 2022 at the Dutch caravanning trade fair “Kampeer & Caravan Jaarbeurs”. The caravan’s unique design and focus on the essentials were a real hit with both the public and the expert jury.

From the ONTOUR to the design-conscious EXCELLENT EDITION and the stylish top model range MAXIA – Hobby is presenting a product portfolio with an entirely new strategic focus for caravans in the 2022 season. When it comes to motorhomes and vans as well, Hobby continues to offer its successful combination of Scandinavian design and Nordic cosiness. The diverse array of new products will be showcased for the first time at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf in Hall 9.

A myriad of reactions from the international media and campers have exceeded all expectations for the new Hobby brand BEACHY. The intense interest shown by the caravanning press in the exceptional concept from northern Germany has led to an abundance of requests from excited customers, dealers and camping newbies from across Europe. Starting as a small addition to the Hobby caravan portfolio, the entry-level Beachy has become an absolute favourite of the 2022 caravanning season.

Europe’s first outdoor and camping museum has opened at Egeskov in Denmark. The new museum gives visitors the opportunity to experience and be inspired by all things related to camping and the outdoors. Hobby, the company from northern Germany, is also showcasing some of its products in the fascinating exhibition, including a family caravan, a new camper van and soon the new BEACHY too.
