Adding those extra touches: The new BEACHY 420+

Hobby is adding yet another model to its BEACHY range – the BEACHY 420+. The new caravan offers clever space solutions, including an additional bunk bed and a multifunctional wall, which can be used to create a WC, dressing room or as a partition. While the fresh, new colour scheme brings that sunset feeling to life, the living area is still just as cosy and the beach house vibe that is typical of the BEACHY has, of course, been retained.

More seating areas, more berths, more layouts

The new BEACHY 420+ makes camping holidays even more versatile and more relaxed. With four berths, the new model will particularly appeal to families, groups of friends and those who want an even more flexible space.

Like previous models, the rear of the caravan features a combined sleeping/seating area. The large face-to-face seating area with two tables is perfect for eating meals, playing games or just socialising with a number of people. By using one of the tables as a bench, the area can be easily transformed into a cosy U-shaped seating area. Once converted into a bed, an extra-large sleeping space measuring 2 m x 1.70 m is created. The second, smaller face-to-face seating area can be found at the front of the caravan and is truly versatile. It can be easily converted into a bunk bed or a cosy couch. The bed size here measures 1.97 m x 0.69 m or 1.93 m x 0.79 m. Each of the bunk beds can withstand a load of up to 100 kg, making them perfect not only for children. For safety, a guard and ladder are included in the standard equipment.

The storage space in the BEACHY 420+ has also been cleverly designed. A wardrobe and a vast array of compartments as well as the storage space underneath the rear seating area can easily accommodate all of your luggage and supplies. This makes it easy to keep things tidy in the BEACHY 420+, leaving you free to focus on what really matters on holiday. The optional multifunctional wall is another new feature. It can be used to create a dressing room or a WC with a Porta Potti in just a few simple steps. The multifunctional wall can also be used to create a partition between the seating and sleeping areas. The kitchen in the BEACHY 420+ is conveniently located to the side of the habitation entrance door and thus between the two seating areas. The new cool box with a capacity of 39 litres will keep your vegetables fresh and your drinks nicely chilled. Fully extendable and fitted with a safety lock, it is easily accessible, yet remains firmly closed while driving.

Fresh colours make every hour feel like sunset

The new model also embodies the BEACHY vibe by using colours that are reminiscent of the sun and beach. This includes two corduroy fabrics for the seat cushions and backrests, which the customer is free to choose between. “Ocean”, which is a more muted blue colour, and “Ocean Midnight”, which is a deeper shade of blue, emphasise the link with the sea. Two red and two yellow cushions add splashes of colour, as do the V-Flex design features in sunny shades of yellow, orange and dark red. The new colour scheme of the BEACHY 420+ is rounded off by the dark red special decal. As always, indirect LED lighting underneath the wall units, in the kitchen and at the front of the caravan is also included as standard.

For those wanting to add even more features to their new BEACHY, there’s a wide range of optional extras to choose from, such as the KNOTT ETS Plus stabilisation system, an awning, a bicycle rack, a storage box for the drawbar or an electric heating system. The BEACHY 420+ has a body length of 4.26 m and a maximum technically permissible laden mass of 1,000 kg. An increase in load capacity to 1,200 kg is possible. The first models are scheduled to be delivered in June 2025.
