Hobby caravans at Caravan Salon Düsseldorf: new products and concept vehicle

The 2026 caravan line-up: modern designs and functional upgrades

For the 2026 season, almost all Hobby caravan ranges will receive a design update, including new upholstery fabrics and coloured cushion sets. The DE LUXE 460 SFf, 460 SL and EXCELLENT 460 SL models will feature a new rear washroom with a foldable shower screen. In the DE LUXE and ONTOUR ranges, multifunctional kitchen splashbacks with power sockets and USB A/C ports will be included as part of the standard specification.

The HobbyConnect system now includes a new 7" touch control panel, which is available for all Hobby vehicles. In the PRESTIGE and MAXIA ranges, the upgrade is included as standard with the “HobbyKomplett” ALL-INCLUSIVE package. Along with the usual on-board management functions, it now adds a digital levelling display. The new 7" touch control panel can be retrofitted to all Hobby vehicles from the 2021 model year onwards.

The Concept 830 CE prototype

The Concept 830 CE prototype is all about taking caravan design beyond the mainstream. In this case, “Concept” denotes its prototype status, “830” refers to the caravan’s overall length, and “CE” stands for the combination of a couch seating area and single beds. This innovative caravan combines a modern exterior with intelligent interior design and premium materials. Inspired by the Scandinavian minimalist style of Hobby’s MAXIA model range, the interior impresses with light wood fronts, warm fabrics and anthracite accents. This design creates a sense of spaciousness and is reminiscent of a stylish lounge – clearly structured yet invitingly cosy. On the outside, the elegant chalk-like paint finish and black detailing further emphasise this caravan’s exclusive character.

A real highlight is the corner kitchen, developed in collaboration with ALNO and featuring an elegant marble-look finish with a stone-like texture. A slim worktop, soft-close cupboard doors, easy-glide drawers with self-closing function and the integration of magnetic surfaces for silwy® products all combine to make cooking in the Concept 830 CE a relaxed experience. silwy® magnetic fixtures integrated into the tabletop, coat rack shelf, kitchen worktop and splashback, plus the undersides of wall units, drawers and bedside cabinets, ensure that glasses, cups and even coffee machines remain safely in position while on the road.

Hobby motorhomes at the Caravan Salon Düsseldorf: new products and the PRESTIGE T model range

Motorhomes for 2026: functional upgrades and a new washroom

Starting with the 2026 model year, every Hobby motorhome and van chassis will feature a comprehensive safety package as standard, meeting the requirements of the new GSR-2 regulation. They will also be equipped with an innovative 2-in-1 combination charger from DOMETIC  – this includes a jump-start function for the vehicle battery that can be activated via the app or directly on the device. In addition, the new 7" touch control panel is now available for all motorhomes – included as part of the “HobbyKomplett” ALL-INCLUSIVE package in the Prestige and Maxia ranges.

In the ONTOUR VAN, Hobby will introduce a new swivel bathroom. This includes a flexible module  that ensures a clear separation between wet and dry areas. Premium materials, an integrated shower shelf and a waterproof louvre door complete the new bathroom concept.

The new PRESTIGE T motorhome: yacht styling on four wheels

Hobby will expand its line-up with the new PRESTIGE T motorhome range. Inside, it combines nautical elegance with everyday comfort, featuring Shell White furniture fronts with a pearlescent finish, ship’s deck-style flooring and upholstery in the “Baro” design. On the outside, the PRESTIGE T stands out with its black chassis cowl and the range’s signature red accent stripes, creating a striking, dynamic look.

Measuring 7.10 metres in length, the PRESTIGE T is built on the proven FIAT chassis and comes as standard with a 180-hp engine and 8-speed automatic transmission. Four registered seats, two longitudinal beds at the rear, a convertible L-shaped seating area, a spacious side kitchen and a compact washroom provide ample room for family holidays or trips with friends. Standard equipment includes the new 7" HobbyConnect touch control panel, a DOMETIC 2-in-1 combination charger, Hobby’s Safety package, full LED headlights, swivel driver’s seats, ambient lighting and much more.

This robust caravan is ready for all weather conditions ex-works, thanks to a heated waste water tank, indirect underfloor heating beneath the seating area and an insulated lowered rear section – keeping you cosy even in freezing conditions. The GRP roof and floor, paired with XPS heat insulation, provide reliable protection from the elements and ensure lasting durability. In summer, you can relax and unwind under the large awning with a cool drink from the 133-litre refrigerator with double-hinged doors.

Special vehicles: Hobby showcases conversion projects

The new Hobby exhibition stand in Hall 5 at Caravan Salon will feature a dedicated area for special conversion projects, including two barrier-free caravans, a mobile blood donation vehicle and a mobile sales van for custom-printed clothing.

Brecht CaraVan converts various Hobby models into wheelchair-accessible caravans, giving people with disabilities greater freedom and independence when travelling. These converted caravans are available both for purchase and for hire.

Great things emerge from strong partnerships: working closely with the UKSH Foundation of the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein, Hobby has developed a mobile blood donation unit. Based on a Hobby caravan and equipped with six recliners plus state-of-the-art donation and refrigeration technology, it meets the highest medical and technical standards – embodying two guiding principles on the road: “Doing good together” (UKSH Foundation) and “Built for life” (Hobby).

Cool Camper has transformed its BEACHY into a unique mobile sales van. Founder Bernd Grote uses the converted caravan to print T-shirts, hoodies and other textiles directly on site – and thanks to its smart interior layout, he can still use the BEACHY for overnight stays.
