Hobby kicks off the 2026 season with a new motorhome, smart upgrades and a fresh design
For the 2026 season, Hobby will present a fully updated portfolio – featuring advances in technology and smart home features, a brand-new motorhome range, innovative bathroom solutions and refreshed caravan designs. Hobby will present the full line-up at its official press conference at the Caravan Salon Düsseldorf on 29 August 2025, and at the Hobby stand – this year, located in Hall 5 for the first time.

Smart home and technology innovations
For the new season, the proven HobbyConnect system will be enhanced with a 7" touch control panel. This allows all electronic functions – from heating, lighting and water to air conditioning – to be controlled conveniently either from the touchscreen in the entrance area or via Bluetooth through the HobbyConnect app. A new feature is the integrated vehicle levelling display with graphical representation. The new 7" touch control panel is part of the standard “HobbyKomplett” ALL-INCLUSIVE package – included with all caravans and motorhomes in the Maxia and Prestige ranges. For all other models across every vehicle category, it is available as an option and can be retrofitted to vehicles from the 2021 model year onwards.
For efficient energy management, all new motorhomes and vans now come as standard with the new 2-in-1 combination charger from DOMETIC. Combining a charger and charge booster in one unit, it saves both space and weight, and can also supply the starter battery once fully charged. A particularly useful feature is the integrated jump-start function, which can be activated via the app or directly on the unit.
In addition, all Hobby motorhomes and vans from the 2026 model year onwards will comply with the new GSR 2 regulation. As standard, every chassis is fitted with a comprehensive safety package including automatic emergency braking, a lane departure warning system, traffic sign recognition, driver fatigue detection, light and rain sensors, adaptive cruise control and an intelligent speed assistant. The MAXIA T, PRESTIGE T and PRESTIGE VAN First Edition also come with state-of-the-art full LED headlights ex-works.
New motorhome: the PRESTIGE T
At the Caravan Salon Düsseldorf, Hobby will unveil the PRESTIGE T – its new motorhome range in the premium segment. These models bring the luxurious yacht-inspired look of the PRESTIGE VAN into the motorhome category, featuring furniture fronts in Shell White with a pearlescent sheen, upholstery in the “Baro” design and flooring in a ship’s deck finish. The PRESTIGE T also makes a striking impression from the outside: the chassis cowl comes in black, while the sleek, dynamic exterior design is accentuated by the model range’s signature red accent stripe.
The vehicle is built on a FIAT chassis with a 180-hp engine and 8-speed automatic transmission. It measures 7.10 metres in length, 2.40 metres in width and offers four registered seats. At the rear are two longitudinal beds with an optional extension. The front L-shaped seating area can also be converted into a bed. The large side kitchen and the central compact washroom face each other between the front and rear sections. The comprehensive “HobbyKomplett” ALL-INCLUSIVE package includes the new 7" touch control panel, ambient lighting, speakers in the seating area, swivel driver and passenger seats, the new DOMETIC blackout system in the cab, the DOMETIC 2-in-1 combination charger and full LED headlights.
ONTOUR VAN: new swivel bathroom concept
In the ONTOUR VAN, Hobby has redesigned the washroom with a clever new swivel bathroom concept. The washbasin, base cabinet and mirror form a single unit that slides over the toilet, creating a spacious shower area. A waterproof louvre door reliably separates the wet zone from the rest of the habitation area. With its integrated shelf, oiled wooden slatted insert and high-quality materials, the new swivel bathroom combines smart functionality with a striking design.
Caravans 2026: new design and new rear washroom
The 2026 season also brings plenty of updates to the Hobby caravans. All model ranges will feature new upholstery combinations, colour-coordinated cushion sets and new short-pile carpets. The only exception is the MAXIA range, which received the new fabrics in the previous season.
From 2026, the DE LUXE 460 SFf and 460 SL as well as the EXCELLENT 460 SL will feature a newly developed rear washroom, complete with a foldable shower screen and a space-saving tambour door. This provides a practical division between the living space and wet areas. The DE LUXE and ONTOUR ranges are now also equipped with the multifunctional kitchen splashback already familiar from other model ranges, offering two 230 V sockets plus a USB A/C port – ideal for using multiple devices at once.
Our official press conference at Caravan Salon Düsseldorf will take place on 29 August 2025 from 9:20 to 9:40 a.m. in Hall 5.
We look forward to seeing you there!
