Season start for Hobby at the Caravan Salon 2020 in Düsseldorf - new exterior design and impressive model upgrades

With simple lines and a modern colour scheme, Hobby will be unveiling its new caravan exterior at this year’s Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. In the interior, the focus is on the two popular EXCELLENT and PRESTIGE model ranges, which most particularly benefit from a new furniture design. The North German manufacturer continues to expand the model ranges of its semi-integrated motorhomes in the entry-level and mid-range price segment, while also enhancing the van range by giving the Hobby Vantana an even more generous sense of space.

CARAVANS
Cosiness and design – two qualities that are just as closely associated with Hobby as extraordinary value for money. And that is exactly what Hobby will be focusing on when launching its new models for the 2021 season. The stylish exterior design is new for all model ranges – from the ONTOUR to the PRESTIGE – in Hobby’s signature sense of design: Nordic, straightforward and modern. The new body features a clear-cut design and simple lines. The contemporary colour scheme additionally emphasises its sporty character. The manufacturer has made special upgrades to the interiors of the two popular EXCELLENT and PRESTIGE model ranges: both impress with their new, modern interior design paired with ample storage space and a welcoming atmosphere.

MOTORHOMES
In response to high demand in the 2020 season, Hobby has strengthened its model ranges in the entry-level and mid-range price segment for the upcoming season and will continue to expand them. Two new additions have been made to the Optima ONTOUR model range: the T70 E featuring a spacious rear washroom and two single beds, as well as a premium L-shaped kitchen. Another new addition to the range is the T70 F, which boasts a double bed and an ensuite bathroom. Hobby’s strategic focus is the same for its overcab models, namely on the entry-level price segment, which is why it’s introducing the tried-and-tested “ONTOUR” concept with its incredibly spacious layouts. Based on a Citroën Jumper chassis with the same look and feel as the Optima ONTOUR, Hobby will be introducing three different models with innovative and improved layouts in the upcoming season. The A60 GF with a transverse bed at the rear, the A65 KM with a bunk bed and large central seating area, as well as the large A70 GFM with a transverse bed and central seating area.

VANS
With its new design, the entire Vantana model range will feature significantly more space. The large, tinted panoramic window in the DE LUXE model creates a real sense of freedom. Thanks to the double glazing, it boasts excellent insulation values and can also be opened. It is also fitted with a handy fly screen and pleated blackout blind. Customers will find yet another improvement in the Vantana’s sleeping area. The length of the bed on the driver’s side has been extended by 9 cm, making it even more comfortable for tall people to sleep in. Hobby is also making life easier for its customers with the handy gas bottle pull-out shelf for the new season.

From 4 to 13 September 2020, the North German caravan manufacturer will be presenting its new highlights and extensive product range at the Caravan Salon 2020 in Düsseldorf. The kick-off event for the 2021 season will take place under special conditions this year. In addition to a detailed hygiene protocol that will be implemented by the organiser of the event, Hobby will also offer its own comprehensive safety and hygiene measures to provide an optimal level of protection for its visitors and employees at the stand.
