The new Hobby ONTOUR VAN Solaris: Making off-grid camping possible
With the launch of the new ONTOUR VAN Solaris 600 FT edition model, Hobby is offering its customers even greater freedom and spontaneity. The limited special edition features a 260 W BÜTTNER DOMETIC solar energy system with solar charge controller and a 100 Ah SUPER B lithium battery, allowing for up to four days of off-grid camping. This makes the new Hobby van the perfect choice for solo travellers, couples and friends who attach importance to freedom and sustainability on their holidays. The Hobby ONTOUR VAN Solaris is available now, priced from just 64,690 euros.

The high-quality solar system
The centrepiece of the Edition equipment is the extremely powerful BÜTTNER DOMETIC Power Black Line solar energy system with solar charge controller, which delivers 260 watts of power. Even in partial shade or on cloudy days, the system can be relied upon to generate solar power. The 260 W BÜTTNER DOMETIC solar energy system is mounted on the roof of the vehicle using sturdy frame modules to prevent heat build-up beneath the panels. The energy is stored in a high-quality, certified 100 Ah SUPER B lithium battery. This is not only 18 kg lighter than conventional AGM batteries, but also remains fully functional in freezing temperatures, thanks to the temperature sensor and heating element. Furthermore, the 100 Ah SUPER B lithium battery, which is made in the Netherlands, has an IP56-certified protection rating. Hobby customers can easily manage and monitor the battery system using the HOBBYCONNECT app.
Special edition features and equipment worth over 4,000 euros
The new Hobby van is jam-packed with an impressive array of other special features and equipment: painted skid plates and bumpers, a heated waste water tank, ambient lighting, additional power sockets, a window on the left-hand side of the bed, an external socket (12 V/230 V/TV), and much more besides. The entire Edition equipment is already included in the price of 64,690 euros. For customers, this represents a saving of over 4,000 euros compared to the standard ONTOUR VAN 600 FT model.
