Hobby collaborating with the danish camping and outdoor museum with a creative presentation of its products

Europe’s first outdoor and camping museum has opened at Egeskov in Denmark. The new museum gives visitors the opportunity to experience and be inspired by all things related to camping and the outdoors. Hobby, the company from northern Germany, is also showcasing some of its products in the fascinating exhibition, including a family caravan, a new camper van and soon the new BEACHY too.

With exhibits covering an area of over 2,000 m², visitors to the museum will be immersed in the world of outdoor and camping life: from simple tents to modern glamping. As Europe’s largest manufacturer of caravans, Hobby is making the most of its geographical proximity to Denmark and is delighted to be presenting a select range of products while stimulating the creativity of visitors at the same time.

Visitors can take a look around a popular family caravan with a bunk bed as well as a camper van without any interior fittings. These have been replaced by easy-to-move modules, which represent the kitchen, cabinets and table. This gives every camping fan the chance to get their creative juices flowing and design the camper van of their dreams. The ideas will be collected together and subsequently incorporated into Hobby’s product development.

Right next to this will be the Hobby BEACHY area, which is expected to feature the new, hip BEACHY caravan in August and will make visitors feel like they’re really at the beach.

This collaboration with the Danish Camping Outdoor Museum will initially last for two years. Hobby’s product range and the accompanying scenery will be updated at regular intervals. For more information about the Camping Outdoor Museum, visit www.egeskov.dk/campingoutdoormuseum
