Anyone who wants to travel with more than two children or several other adults needs particularly ingenious solutions when it comes to the interior. This is precisely what the Hobby DE LUXE 515 UHL offers. One of many reasons why it appears at the very top of Hobby’s bestseller list as the new season gets underway. 

With a maximum technically permissible laden mass of just 1,700 kg and measuring only 7.54 metres in length, the Hobby DE LUXE 515 UHL can accommodate up to six people thanks to its well-designed interior. There are two single beds at the front of the caravan, each measuring 1.93 metres in length and 82 cm in width. An optional bed extension transforms the single beds into an extra-large sleeping space.
In addition, both the seating area (2,038 x 1,600 mm) and the practical drop-down bed (2,000 x 1,290 mm) can be converted into comfortable berths for four more people. The drop-down bed can be raised out of the way and securely locked in place in an instant. 

During the day, the large U-shaped seating area with windows on all sides serves as the central meeting point for the whole family. Located right next to the kitchen unit, the bright and airy seating area provides you with ample room to eat meals together or play games all afternoon. The well-designed interior also boasts ample storage space: wall units with soft-close mechanisms, an illuminated wardrobe, compartments underneath the seating area and spacious garages ensure that all of your travel gear can be safely stowed away.

Equipment and body – Designed to be used year-round

The standard equipment in the DE LUXE 515 UHL includes a 133-litre, double-hinged Dometic refrigerator and a 12-litre freezer compartment, a three-burner hob, a gas locker for 2×11 kg bottles, fly screens and blackout blinds for every window, as well as a fly screen for the habitation entrance door. For your complete comfort, a 47-litre fresh water tank, waste water tank, Truma heating system with warm air unit and water heater, as well as atmospheric interior lighting in the seating and sleeping areas also come as standard. 

For those wanting to take comfort to the next level, the DE LUXE 515 UHL can be fitted with even more extras ex-works. The options include a built-in oven in the kitchen, removable carpet flooring, a city water connection, an external gas socket, as well as underfloor heating.

Tech-savvy customers can also opt for the new 7" touch control panel. This enables all electronic devices to be controlled directly from the entrance area. Alternatively, they can be operated using a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth and the free HobbyConnect app. Perfect for making travel cosy and comfortable – even in winter.

As is the case with all Hobby caravans, the body of the DE LUXE 515 UHL is ideally suited to icy conditions. A fully bonded EPS insulation layer in the floor, roof and side walls, combined with winter vents, ensures optimal insulation and a perfect indoor climate. PU-reinforced corner elements provide additional stability, are water-resistant and highly insulating. The sandwich construction made from EPS foam, wood and aluminium sheet is based on our decades of experience in caravan construction. As a result, all Hobby caravans are structurally stable, perfectly insulated and protected against moisture in the long term.
