  • The members of the German Caravanning Industry Association (CIVD) have elected Hobby Managing Director Bernd Löher as the new President of the Association. He succeeds Hermann Pfaff, who had been President of the CIVD since 2014 and did not stand for reelection this time. He has been responsible for the finances of the association, among other things, since 2020.

  • Hobby is extending its current watertightness guarantee for its caravans and motorhomes from 5 years to an impressive 12 years. All new vehicles from the 2024 model year onwards will benefit from the extended guarantee. Europe’s most popular caravanning manufacturer wants to offer its customers a better service and is demonstrating the confidence it has in the durability and quality of its own products by taking this important step.

  • The Hobby PRESTIGE and MAXIA model ranges are luxury-class caravans that can give luxurious holiday apartments a run for their money when it comes to both design and comfort. Both model rang-es are suitable for use in winter and perfect for large families with up to seven berths. The new 595 KML model of the MAXIA model range offers an extraordinary level of flexibility.

  • Travel with all the mod cons: no one who spends several weeks a year travelling in a caravan is interested in making compromises, even when on holiday. That’s why the Hobby EXCELLENT and EXCELLENT EDITION model ranges exist. They’re starting the 2024 season with a new exterior design and stylish interior accents. The perfect choice for those looking for the middle ground between an entry-level and luxury-class caravan.

  • Camping is still one of the most popular types of holiday. Every year, more and more couples and families decide to make their dream of owning their own caravan come true. For these newcomers to caravanning, Hobby offers two model ranges that are ready to hit the road from day one thanks to the “HOBBYKOMPLETT” ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGE. The Hobby ONTOUR and Hobby DE LUXE will have a new exterior design for the 2024 season. The interior is also far more modern.

  • Whether you’re looking for an entry-level, mid-range or luxury-class van, Hobby has you covered with three different model ranges. The vehicle manufacturer is sticking to tried-and-tested recipes for success for the 2024 season.

  • For his lifetime commitment and the successful implementation of his visions in the caravanning industry, Hobby founder Harald Striewski has received the German Camping Award 2023. As is tradition, the award was presented at this year’s Reise & Camping trade fair in Essen by the German Camping Club and the city of Essen. Managing Director Holger Schulz accepted the award on his behalf. He personally handed it over to Harald Striewski back at the company’s headquarters in northern Germany.

  • Hobby can reflect on a highly successful holiday exhibition in Stuttgart having received many awards for its model range and marketing campaigns. The family-friendly models in particular went down especially well with the numerous visitors to the CMT exhibition. The new 595 KML layout featuring children’s beds from the popular Maxia caravan range was also in high demand.
