Hobby Optima Ontour Edition passes winter test in northern Norway
The winter performance of the new OPTIMA ONTOUR EDITION has now been tested us-ing the first prototypes in the icy wilderness of northern Norway. Over several days, em-ployees from the Hobby factory and international press representatives put the new van through its paces. The heat insulation, heating system and handy gas bottle pull-out shelf were particularly impressive at an extremely chilly -20 degrees. From March onwards, the new OPTIMA ONTOUR EDITION will also be available for test drives by end customers at all participating dealers.
The new OPTIMA ONTOUR EDITION is winter-proof! That’s the conclusion following the icy winter endurance test in northern Norway. Thanks to the sophisticated heat insulation, a TRUMA Combi hot air heating system, as well as an insulated and heated waste water tank, the new van had no problems coping with the icy temperatures of -20 degrees. “We are incredibly pleased with the test result and it shows that we made the right choice when it came to the materials we used, and our design and production teams have done a fantastic job,” says Head of Marketing Thomas Neubert.
From March onwards, any end customers interested in taking the fully-equipped OPTIMA
ONTOUR EDITION for a test drive will be able to do so free of charge at all participating dealers. This should help customers to make even better purchasing decisions, providing them with the opportunity to get a sneak peek at the new van.
