The New Hobby Excellent Edition: Modern in Every Detail

The caravans in Hobby’s EXCELLENT EDITION model range have been extensively updated for the 2027 season. The new look is defined by light-coloured furniture finishes and colourful upholstery combinations in the living area, updated cabinetry in the kitchen and sleeping area, a maritime-style floor and a sporty exterior design. Together, these updates give the model range a modern, welcoming character. Three of the eight layouts include children’s beds, making the EXCELLENT EDITION especially popular with families.

Modern interior concept: bright and airy with colourful accents

The updated interior design of the EXCELLENT EDITION model range creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. The natural-look oak furniture finish, with its distinctive grain, is harmoniously combined with white furniture fronts. The “Punto” upholstery combination, with blue seat cushions that bring a fresh, modern note to the living area, is a real highlight. Those who prefer a more understated look can choose the grey “Terzo” upholstery option. The voiles and curtains come in white and grey, whichever upholstery option you choose.

The kitchen and dining area – the heart of the caravan

The kitchen has also been redesigned to reflect the model range’s clean, modern design language. The light concrete-effect worktop is colour-coordinated with the dining table, while the slimmer surface and straighter lines give the kitchen unit a lighter, more elegant look. Together, the kitchen and dining area create a harmonious, welcoming space.

Clearer interior layout and updated sleeping areas

The washroom now features an elegant anthracite and white colour scheme. This clearly sets it apart from the living area and gives the interior an even clearer structure. Up front, the single-bed models have also been updated, with new shelves providing additional storage space for entertainment devices, a book or personal belongings. Ambient lighting integrated into the front area creates an extra cosy atmosphere in the sleeping area – perfect for relaxing evenings.

A warm, welcoming interior

Further highlights complete the overall concept of the new EXCELLENT EDITION. The new ship’s-deck-style floor gives the interior a subtle maritime feel and works especially well with the ambient lighting running above and below the wall units in the living and kitchen areas. This feature is included in every model – as part of a generous standard equipment package that also includes the refrigerator, hob, washroom fittings, mattresses, on-board technology, the HobbyConnect app and much more. This means every Hobby vehicle is ready to travel ex-works, with clear and transparent pricing.

The EXCELLENT EDITION is a hit with the whole family. The EXCELLENT EDITION layouts offer the best of both worlds: plenty of space for shared family time, and quiet corners for children or adults who want a little time to themselves. Some models include several seating areas while still providing enough storage space to keep everyday essentials neatly organised.

The 490 KMF, 545 KMF and 650 KMFe models are especially family-friendly, featuring bunk beds for children and a large seating area for the whole family. The 650 KMFe also features a second, cosy seating area right next to the bunk beds. A practical kitchen and plenty of storage space complete these layouts.
