Caravaning continues to be hugely popular in 2020: Hobby has a successful appearance at the caravan salon trade fair
The Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf has been a positive experience for Hobby. Potential customers of all ages and enthusiastic dealers flocked to Hobby’s exhibition stand to find out all about the company’s latest stylish caravans and motorhomes. Customers were particularly drawn to the modern EXCELLENT and PRESTIGE caravan model ranges boasting redesigned interiors. The overcab motorhomes from the popular OPTIMA ONTOUR model range also wowed the crowds this year.
This year’s Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf has been a positive, yet very unusual start to the season for Hobby, the company based in north Germany. “The Caravan Salon was my first trade fair as the Managing Director at Hobby. Even in these exceptional circumstances, showcasing our vehicles has been an entirely enjoyable experience on the whole, involving lots of interesting talks with people. Everyone involved stuck to our hygiene concept, and I’m incredibly proud of the whole Hobby Team. They did a fantastic job!” says Managing Director Bernd Löher.
The new, stylish exterior of the caravans featuring a clear-cut design and simple lines went down extremely well with Hobby customers. When it came to the interior, the EXCELLENT and PRESTIGE models featuring a redesigned living area particularly wowed the crowds. Hobby offers young families a large number of family-friendly layouts with plenty of storage space.
Motorhome customers were especially impressed by the new Hobby overcab models on a Citroën Jumper chassis and with the same look and feel as the OPTIMA ONTOUR. Generally speaking, given the wide variety of layouts and their outstanding value for money, the entry-level OPTIMA ONTOUR and OPTIMA ONTOUR EDITION model ranges were a hit with Hobby’s discerning customers.
Hobby’s next appearance at a trade fair is already planned from 18 until 22 November at “Touristik & Caravaning” in Leipzig, where Hobby will once again showcase its latest innovations and wide range of products.
