Press releases

  • Our theme for the upcoming season is “Enduring Camping Passion” – with a focus on durability. While our model range remains diverse, it has been streamlined and updated with fresh interiors. For 2025, we’re taking what’s already great and making it even better. Enter the EXCELLENT EDITION models – mid-range caravans that deliver both comfort and style, per-fect for those who want it all on holiday without any compromises. This is the ideal middle ground between entry-level and luxury-class models, and at Hobby, it’s known as the EXCELLENT EDITION.

  • Durability takes centre stage in Hobby’s new season. In short, we’re tak-ing what’s already great and making it even better. While our model range remains diverse, it has been streamlined and enhanced with upgraded interiors. Leading the charge is the DE LUXE model range. DE LUXE represents versatility: from compact caravans for couples to family layouts that offer up to seven berths. And, naturally, every model is equipped with everything you need for an unfor-gettable camping holiday, thanks to the HOBBYKOMPLETT ALL-INCLUSIVE package.

  • Hobby’s BEACHY series has been a hit for years, turning heads at beaches, lakes and campsites alike. Now, this lightweight caravan is available in four vibrant new colours that will bring even more joy to every journey. Plus, all three BEACHY models have been upgraded and are now fully equipped for off-grid camping.

  • Huge success for Hobby at the start of the year: the caravanning company from northern Germany won the international European Innovation Award for the third time in a row. This time around, Hobby took first place in the “Overall Concept – Caravan” category with its multifunctional children’s bed concept in the MAXIA 595 KML. The award ceremony was held at this year’s CMT 2024 holiday exhibition in Stuttgart, where Hobby presented its wide range of products and got the year off to a great start.

  • The members of the German Caravanning Industry Association (CIVD) have elected Hobby Managing Director Bernd Löher as the new President of the Association. He succeeds Hermann Pfaff, who had been President of the CIVD since 2014 and did not stand for reelection this time. The 54-year-old has more than 20 years of experience in the caravanning industry and has already been active on various CIVD committees. He has been responsible for the finances of the association, among other things, since 2020.

  • Hobby is extending its current watertightness guarantee for its caravans and motorhomes from 5 years to an impressive 12 years. All new vehicles from the 2024 model year onwards will benefit from the extended guarantee. Europe’s most popular caravanning manufacturer wants to offer its customers a better service and is demonstrating the confidence it has in the durability and quality of its own products by taking this important step.

  • The Hobby PRESTIGE and MAXIA model ranges are luxury-class caravans that can give luxurious holiday apartments a run for their money when it comes to both design and comfort. Both model rang-es are suitable for use in winter and perfect for large families with up to seven berths. The new 595 KML model of the MAXIA model range offers an extraordinary level of flexibility.

  • Travel with all the mod cons: no one who spends several weeks a year travelling in a caravan is interested in making compromises, even when on holiday. That’s why the Hobby EXCELLENT and EXCELLENT EDITION model ranges exist. They’re starting the 2024 season with a new exterior design and stylish interior accents. The perfect choice for those looking for the middle ground between an entry-level and luxury-class caravan.
